Ancient days 2018.

On Friday, July 20, and on Saturday, July 21, in the remains of the Roman town of Fulfinum from the 1st century at the locality of Mirine near Omisalj, the 10th event - Ancient days, will be held. The program will start at 9.30 pm with local children's facilities and will continue from 18.00 o'clock with gastronomic offer and re-enactment of life in the Roman times.

Everyone who's coming to Mirine will enjoy the ambient of ancient Rome under the torches and with the gastronomic offer of the ancient delicacies of the restaurant Rivica, whose chefs will prepare a traditional Roman dinner.

Apart from the gastronomic specialties of Old Rome, all visitors will enjoy the music of the Liburnian antique group Ad Rectum, juggling with fire, gladiator battles, and have the opportunity to socialize with a lot of costumed Romans of different professions and classes.
Roman Emperor and Empress will be guarded by the famous Roman warriors, while autochthonous products and services will be offered by many ancient craftmen such as blacksmiths, potters, weavers, rope-makers, hairdressers and beauty salons.

Members of the carnival associations from Omisalj, Babani and Omišaljski babani are hosts in Fulfinum and one of the most responsible for going back in ancient times, and this year their guests will be legions of Aquileia and Ptuj with their troops.
