Popi' i pojedi - Žlahtina Festival / Open cellars and Razgon

The two-days Žlahtina Festival are the days of the open wineries from Vrbnik and the celebration of the traditional holiday season of Razgon. Razgon is a pastoral custom from the ancient times, marking the end of the sheep's milking period and their release to free pasture. For this occasion there is organized a woolen dressing workshop, the 3rdexhibition of sheeps from the island of Krk, where local sheep products will be tasted, and a sheep breeding competition organized in cooperation with the Croatian Agricultural Agency. At numerous stands, visitors will be able to taste and buy island’s products - wine, olive oil, cheese, pasta, honey and aromatic herbs.
