Island Krk is well known for its tourism and diverse offers. From boat tours all the way to great biking and hiking routes - this island challenges you to explore it the way you want to! In this blog we bring you more information about the newly opened street workout park called "Activity center Krk".
The workout park itself is located in a pine wood right besides the sea, near the hotels Dražica and Bor. It is a unique location and a sight the world hasn't seen yet! It is unique not only by its location but also by the types of excercise machines you can find there and the possibilities it offers its trainees.
Venice beach is probably the most famous workout place on Earth, and yet we use it as comparison to our Croatian Activity center Krk because it is that good!
The park itself enriches the general tourist offer of our town because it is something different. It invites people to enjoy group exercises, street workout, cross-fit, parkour and pole-dancing all at the same time!
During the summer Activity center Krk hold different group programs during the week like yoga, pilates, fitness and other conditioning programs. The park includes different exercises machines, weights, bars and dumbbells. This summer the center plans to open a mini-bar with refreshments, protein snacks and drinks.
For kids there is a small swimming school that includes conditioning trainings. For adults there are weekend schools of cross-fit where you can learn more on how to max out your exercising in super-sets to full utilize your time.
A website of the Activity center Krk is in the making and it will contain accurate and day-to-day information about its programs, official trainers, event dates and much more!
Besides the bodyweight exercises (street workout) or using your agility (parkour) you can also try classical exercises of stretching and low-stress via special machines made for recreational usage. Besides the group workouts you can always book a private workout with one of their trainers.
Next season Activity Center Krk brings novelties like SUPs and kayaks!
